Erin Andrews regrets ‘amateur’ response to infamous Richard Sherman interview

Fox Sports media star Erin Andrews wishes she could have a redo of her infamous interview with Richard Sherman.

“I wish I hadn’t had that look on my face… I wish I hadn’t looked like such an amateur,” Andrews said about the moment during her appearance on the latest “Marchand and Ourand Sports Media Podcast,” per Jenna Lemoncelli of the New York Post. “Because I knew it was so cool and I’m such a sports fan and I was like ‘holy s— my follow-up better be good because this is going to be everywhere.’ I turned into a 5-year-old, I just turned into a superfan in that moment.”

Andrews was referencing how she spoke with Sherman shortly after the then-Seattle Seahawks cornerback made the contest-deciding defensive play to clinch a win over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game held in January 2014.
