Downtown San Antonio’s Shotgun House Roasters to host burger-centric pop-up this weekend

Coffee spot Shotgun House Roasters and Chi Chi Birds Hot Chicken have joined forces to hold a Slam Daddy pop-up Friday and Saturday.
What is a Slam Daddy, you ask? A Slam Daddy is the hot chicken trailer’s popular take on the humble double cheeseburger, which has been amped up with Chi Chi’s savory Bird Sauce.
The pop-up will take place inside the Shotgun House lobby on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. — or sell out. The coffee joint also serves craft beer and wine to wash down the slam daddiness.
Shotgun House Roasters is tucked inside artisan and entrepreneur space Warehouse 5, at 1333 Buena Vista Street.
