Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert throws shade at 49ers ahead of Week 13 clash

Raheem Mostert has not been shy about vocalizing his belief that the San Francisco 49ers held it against him when he opted for season-ending knee surgery last season.

Now with the Miami Dolphins, the 30-year-old Mostert recently shared with Tyler Dunne of GoLongTD.com that he felt the 49ers did not have his best interest at heart, which prompted him to sign a one-year deal with Miami during the offseason.

“They definitely did (hold my surgery against me),” Mostert told Dunne. “I moved on from the situation. … It’s up to the player to step up and say, ‘This isn’t right. I don’t think this is the best of my interest.’ … I knew exactly how I’d handle the situation. I knew exactly — coming off of rehab — what I needed to do in order to get back on the field.”
