Diogo Jota scores four goals with HIMSELF in 8-2 FIFA tournament win
Wolverhampton Wanderers‘ Diogo Jota flexed his gaming muscles on Thursday, showing off his FIFA 20 skills by beating Leicester’s Wilfred Ndidi in the ePremier League Invitational.
Not only did he win the match 8-2, but he even scored four goals with the in-game representation of himself.
The FIFA version of Jota actually celebrated more than the real life version as the eighth goal went in, while an embarrassed Ndidi shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

The ePremier League competition was initially created for the 2018-19 campaign as some of the best FIFA players from across the UK competed for the real life clubs.
However the ePremier League Invitational has invited footballers to represent their own teams in an online tournament during lockdown.
The Premier League stars are competing against each other in a knockout tournament from their own homes, with the final being shown live on Sky Sports on Saturday, April 25.
‘Although Ndidi did a good effort I think I know more of the game than him,’ said Jota after the match. ‘Also Ndidi always makes a pursuit against me on the [real life] field, so it was my turn!’

Jota scoring eight goals is only the second time that’s happened in the tournament so far, and he expects to play more attacking football going forward.
‘I feel really bad, he’s very good,’ said Ndidi with a wry smile. ‘I think he can actually win the tournament.’
Wolves were 1-0 up within five minutes, with Raul Jimenez setting the tone for the rest of the match.
Ndidi actually equalised using Kelechi Iheanacho, but another Jimenez goal extended the lead shortly after, and then Jota started to run riot using his own player.

With the win, Wolves have now progressed to the quarter-finals, where they will play Sheffield United, who got a big win of their own after Lys Mousset beat Norwich’s Todd Cantwell 6-2 later in the day.
The overall prize fund for the tournament will be donated to the #PlayersTogether initiative, which was set up collectively by Premier League players with its aim to ‘distribute money to where it is needed most’ in the fight against the coronavirus crisis.
The funds will go to those fighting on the NHS frontline and other key areas of need.
