Dillon Brooks Says He’s ‘Ready To Lock Up’ LeBron James
Dillon Brooks has always been supremely confident about his ability to go against the NBA’s best players. That confidence has carried over from the Memphis Grizzlies to Brooks’ new team, the Houston Rockets.
Ahead of the Rockets matchup on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers, Brooks said he’s ready to go against LeBron James.
“Ready to lock him up. He’s been shooting the ball well, he’s been playing well, so just there to make him tired, make him get into that 4th quarter early,” Brooks said.
In last season’s playoffs, while with the Grizzlies, Brooks admitted he was “poking bears” by trash talking James and the Lakers. Brooks said at the time that it’s all a part of his confidence in going against the NBA superstars.
