Desmond Bane Out Six Weeks, Jake LaRavia Two Weeks Due To Ankle Sprains
The already banged-up Memphis Grizzlies announced they will be without two more players in the coming weeks. Desmond Bane and Jake LaRavia will both miss time due to sprained ankles.
Bane has been diagnosed with a Grade 3 left ankle sprain. He will miss at least six weeks.
LaRavia has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 high left ankle sprain. He will miss at least three weeks.
The Grizzlies are down to eight healthy players on the roster. Memphis does have an open two-way roster spot. After Monday’s game, the Grizzlies will also be able to petition the NBA for a hardship exception to open up an additional roster spot.
