Deputies search for sexual assault suspect who entered through open garage

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help find a sexual assault suspect who entered a residence on the city’s far West Side through an open garage door, according to a Facebook post from the agency on Monday, October 31. 

Deputies responded to the incident around 10:30 a.m. in the 11800 block of Davalos Lane in the Lucky Ranch Subdivision, not far from the Medina Valley Independent School District Luckey Ranch Elementary School. According to the BCSO, the suspect is reported to have gained access to the residence through an open garage door and eventually entered the residence through the adjacent door from the garage.

Following the assault, the suspect is believed to have left the residence through the garage door. It is unknown if the suspect fled on foot or in a vehicle. Upon arrival at the residence, responding deputies heavily saturated the area to search for the suspect, but could not locate anyone matching the description, according to the post.

The suspect is a 5-foot-9-inch male with dark brown hair who is described as slender with a thin build. He was wearing a black T-shirt or back or dark-colored sweatpants, black and blue tennis shoes and a white surgical mask. Deputies said he could possibly have a scar over his right eyebrow.

Investigators are asking residents in the area to look at their surveillance footage from the Lucky Ranch subdivision within the timeframe of 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, October 31.
