DeMeco Ryans to interview with Cardinals and Colts on Sunday, ahead of 49ers-Cowboys

San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans has already met with the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans about their head coaching vacancies. That leaves the Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts interviews remaining on his schedule. Both talks are slated to occur ahead of Sunday’s Divisional Round playoff matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

Those remaining interviews will occur on the same day as the 49ers’ playoff game. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Ryans will speak with the Cardinals and Colts on Sunday morning before kick-off.

“He’s going to do those interviews prior to kickoff tomorrow against the Cowboys,” Fowler reports. “It’s a crazy 72-hour window for Ryans. People around the league believe he has traction in Houston. He played six years there, was a great player, played along side J.J. Watt and others, well respected. … Ryans will be firmly in the mix on multiple jobs.”
