De Gea: I have to take responsibility

“First of all, I have to take responsibility. I think we have lost three points today,” David told club reporter Stewart Gardner.

“The first minutes, before the goal, it [the game] was under control. Nothing happened and then after the first goal, we concede a goal and then I think the team was down, down, down.

“We didn’t react. We should be capable to react much better, but it was unacceptable the goal that I conceded today.

“It was a not super-difficult ball, so I just put my head up and I should have kept my eyes on the ball. That happens, that’s football, and life. Sometimes you make mistakes,” De Gea added.

“That’s even worse when the team lose but now, I have to keep working, keep doing my job as best as possible and keep helping the team.”
