Davis Mills Is Giving Texans Fans Hope In The Preseason

The Houston Texans may have found a starter in quarterback Davis Mills.

Last season, he filled in for Tyrod Taylor, who suffered a hamstring injury.

He played 13 games and finished with 2,664 yards and 16 touchdowns.

The Stanford alumnus also holds the franchise’s rookie records for passing yards and completion percentage (66.8).

He is also the first rookie quarterback to throw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns against the New England Patriots during the Bill Belichick era.

Therefore, it was a no-brainer that he would be the team’s starter for the 2022 season.

However, he is not banking on his achievements last season to prove that he deserves the role.
