Cristiano Ronaldo matches unwanted personal record following Burnley draw

Cristiano Ronaldo matches unwanted personal record following Burnley draw Cristiano Ronaldo matches unwanted personal record following Burnley draw

A rather concerning stat surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo has emerged on Tuesday evening.

Manchester United and Burnley would face off in a Premier League clash on Tuesday.

Ronaldo did not start for the Red Devils, with Ralf Rangnick pointing towards the need for running and chasing second balls as his reason for bringing in Edinson Cavani over the Portuguese:

Cristiano Ronaldo would eventually come on for Manchester United in place of Cavani after 68 minutes.

However, the 37-year-old’s impact was minimal and he was unable to prevent United from drawing 1-1.

After the game, it has been revealed Cristiano Ronaldo has failed to score in his last 5 appearances, which is his worst run without a club goal for over 1️1 years, with his last spell of his nature coming back in 2011 for Real Madrid:

Manchester United out of Champions League places

Elsewhere, Manchester United have slipped down to 5th on Tuesday after West Ham saw off Watford.

And it is likely to only get worse for the Reds as both Arsenal and Tottenham could overtake them if the north Londoners win their games in hand, meaning United could end up in a Europa Conference League spot.

If United are to stay in the race for the top-four, Ronaldo must rediscover his form very soon.
