Cowboys Writer Shares Definitive List Of Top WR Targets

The Dallas Cowboys need serious help at wide receiver.

They had to trade Amari Cooper due to salary cap issues and the Pro Bowler is now with the Cleveland Browns.

Likewise, Cedrick Wilson went to the Miami Dolphins.

James Washington may also miss some time due to injury.

Therefore, they have to replenish their talent at the position to help out quarterback Dak Prescott.

That said, Blogging The Boys Managing Editor RJ Ochoa took note of the top wideouts available.

Ochoa named four players: Odell Beckham Jr., Will Fuller, T.Y. Hilton, and Cole Beasley.

Beckham’s situation remains uncertain after suffering an ACL injury in Super Bowl LVI.

It takes time for ACL injuries to heal, which makes recovery his priority.

Therefore, Beckham isn’t thinking about his next contract for now because it doesn’t make sense to sign if he cannot play.

However, it’s highly possible that he will re-sign with the Los Angeles Rams because both sides have shown interest to continue their partnership.

Will The Cowboys Land Any Of Those Wideouts?

Aside from Beckham, it’s puzzling why Fuller, Hilton, and Beasley remain unsigned.

They can help any team that will bring them in, especially Beasley who had a productive season with the Buffalo Bills.

Likewise, Fuller is also cleared to play and could be an asset to any team that will get him.

Hilton may have lost a step but he is still explosive and reliable.

Perhaps the deep pool for wide receiver talent in the 2022 NFL Draft diminishes their hopes of getting another contract.

Had it been another year, they could have signed a contract already.

There’s still time to snap up any of them, but the Cowboys must offer substantial value to get any of those veterans.
