The Dallas Cowboys are getting set for a huge playoff game on Monday night.

Their defense will especially have their hands full trying to slow down Tom Brady.

But, one Cowboys defender took some time this week to express his displeasure.

Star linebacker Micah Parsons was not voted to the inaugural NFLPA All-Pro team.

It is hard to understand why Parsons would not be voted among the players.

But, there are plenty of great pass rushers in the league this year.

Nick Bosa and Myles Garrett were voted over Parsons for the edge rusher spot.

Both are as deserving as Parsons for one of the two spots.

What makes Parsons unique is that he puts up elite pass rush numbers without exclusively playing defensive line.

This season he has 171 snaps at linebacker, which Bosa and Garrett do not have to do.

Also, Parsons is the league leader in pass rush win rate amongst edge defenders.

He is the only player in the NFL with a 30% win rate.

Parsons has a right to be upset by not being voted by his peers as first-team All-Pro.

But, as a fan of the Cowboys, you should be excited about this.

Parsons will most likely be very motivated heading into the upcoming playoff game.

After last season’s playoff disappointment, the Cowboys need to find a way to win on Monday.

The second-year star linebacker will be a vital part of the Cowboys’ success.

Pressuring Tom Brady will best one of the most important things for the defense.

Knocking him off his spot will give Dallas the best chance at creating turnovers.

It will be interesting to see how the Cowboys and Parsons respond on Monday.
