Odell Beckham Jr. is looking for a new team.

After leaving the Los Angeles Rams after their Super Bowl win last year, the wide receiver has been without a team.

But in the last few weeks, Beckham has visited a few teams, most notably his former team the New York Giants, and their bitter rivals the Dallas Cowboys.

At the moment, we do not know who Beckham will sign with.

But, Cowboys star Micah Parsons has given us a hint as to what would happen to Beckham if he were to sign with Dallas.

The Playoffs For Beckham?

According to Parsons, Beckham told him that he would be ready to play in five weeks.

We are about to go into Week 14 of the regular season.

The regular season has 18 weeks, meaning that the earliest that Beckham would be able to play is the middle of January.

Which conveniently for Beckham is the start of the playoffs.

Beckham joining a side just before the playoffs will not only put the eyes of the country onto whichever team he signs for, but will also keep Beckham in the NFL news cycle for weeks to come.

That is of course if the team he signs for actually makes the playoffs.

If he is going to go to either Dallas or New York, as things currently stand, he will be playing in the playoffs.

But, that can all change.

While Beckham may want to play football as soon as practically possible, just picking a team because they have made the playoffs and everyone will look at you playing is not the best reason to sign for a team.

Beckham needs to sign for a team where he is needed all 18 weeks of the season, not just a Wild Card matchup.
