Cowboys Rewind: 7 unforgettable moments between Prescott, Elliott

The dynamic duo of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott enter their seventh training camp together since being drafted in the 2016 NFL draft.

Since their rookie year, the pairing has provided some of the most electrifying moments in recent memory. There are a plethora of plays to pick from, but let’s nail down seven unforgettable moments between Prescott and Elliott.

Duo shines in Pittsburgh

The Cowboys were already on a historic roll in 2016 entering their week 10 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They were 7-1 coming off a dominant win over Green Bay, a thrilling overtime win against the Philadelphia Eagles and a 25-point victory over the Cleveland Browns.

The two were nothing short of sensational as Prescott threw for 319 yards and Elliott had 209 yards from scrimmage and a combined three touchdowns – including a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns that sealed the 35-30 win and took them to eight straight wins.

Twice late in the fourth quarter Dallas (8-1) had the ball in Steeler territory with a chance to run out the clock and attempt a game-winning field goal. Twice Elliott found himself running free into the end zone, the last a 32-yard sprint up the middle with 9 seconds left.
