Cowboys’ Micah Parsons Sends Strong Message To Odell Beckham Jr.

The Dallas Cowboys suffered a historic loss in Week 10 on the road against the Green Bay Packers, stalling all of their positive momenta. It was the first time in franchise history that they had lost a game they were leading by 14+ points heading into the fourth quarter.

There was a lot of debate about how they would bounce back from such a letdown as they were heading on the road to face off against the 8-1 Minnesota Vikings. Any worries about the Cowboys were quickly put to rest as they beat the brakes off of the Vikings.

Dallas won 40-3, setting another franchise record in the process. The 37-point win is the largest margin of victory on the road ever for the Cowboys. They are now back on track heading into a huge game against their NFC East rivals, the New York Giants, on Thanksgiving afternoon.

The Giants are coming off a loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 11 and dealing with a ton of injuries. Backups and practice squad players will be playing major roles on their defense and after what the Cowboys’ offense just did to the Vikings, they have to be licking their chops to face a decimated New York defense.

Beyond the action on the field, this is also an important game in the Odell Beckham Jr. sweepstakes. Beckham was recently given full clearance to return and will reportedly be making his decision about which team to join after Thanksgiving. The Cowboys and Giants are reportedly the teams he is deciding between and their matchup on Thanksgiving could help him decide.

Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is doing everything he can to help sway Beckham’s decision. After the dominant performance over the Vikings, Beckham acknowledged the Cowboys’ performance, which Parsons took as another opportunity to recruit the talented wide receiver.
