Christmas weather in San Antonio could bring wind chills in the 20s

With only a few days left until Christmas, the San Antonio forecast is calling for Santa and a cold front that will drop temperatures near freezing.

The front is scheduled to move into the San Antonio area Wednesday afternoon, just in time to break out those new winter coats.

Wednesday (High 75 – Low 59): Possible fog and light drizzle in the morning will keep temps warming up to the 70s before the cold front arrives late afternoon. Once the front moves in, winds will pick up and temps will drop after sunset. Expect gusts near 35 mph, so make sure to tie down any outdoor Christmas decorations.

Christmas Eve (High 60 – Low 36): Bundle up for a chilly morning with temps in the 30s for San Antonio and near freezing in the Hill Country. North winds through the morning could produce wind chills in the 20s in some areas. So don’t let the clear and sunny sky fool you.

Christmas Day (High 65 – Low 34): Morning remains chilly, but a south wind in the afternoon will bring comfortable temps. Light wind and partly cloudy skies will make for a very pleasant Christmas Day. Enjoy!
