Chelsea ‘step up efforts for wonderkid Billy Gilmour’s brother’ Harvey

Chelsea are currently the front-runners for Harvey Gilmour’s signature, the younger brother of wonderkid Billy Gilmour, according to The Sun. 

The 14-year-old midfielder is impressing for Kilmarnock’s youth team, while his brother Billy joined the Blues from Rangers last year.

Kilmarnock are keen to keep Gilmour at the club, but reports say he will be heading down to Chelsea ‘when the time is right.’

18-year-old Billy Gilmour missed out on a Scotland call-up recently despite excellent form for Chelsea. 

Some say that Harvey will become an even better player than his older brother in time. 

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is looking to increase his spending in the next transfer window, and the club are linked to a number of new faces in the summer. 

They are also interested in signing Manchester United wonderkid Angel Gomes on a free transfer this summer if he doesn’t stay at Old Trafford.

Plus, Chelsea have joined the race for Barcelona star Marc Cucurella, but face opposition from Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen.
