Cesc Fabregas hits out at Arsenal fan who criticised him for pointing to the Chelsea badge

Cesc Fabregas has hit out at an Arsenal fan over social media after being criticised for pointing to the Chelsea badge when playing at the Emirates Stadium.

Fabregas was with the Gunners for eight years before leaving for La Liga side Barcelona. The Spaniard then made a return to the Premier League for Arsenal’s rivals Chelsea. The move was controversial amongst the Gunners faithful, who saw Fabregas as a club legend.

One Arsenal fan really took a disliking to the midfielder and let his feelings known over Twitter, calling him a ‘snake’ and claiming he ‘threw the club under the bus’.

The fan ranted at Fabregas for patting the Chelsea badge towards the Arsenal fans during a match against his former club.

He said there was ‘video evidence, a entire of library of video evidence, showing this snake throw our club under the bus with insane levels of snakery’.

Fabregas responded: ‘If you think I’m capable of doing what you are suggesting I did, you don’t know me at all and my feelings towards all of you what so ever.

‘I was actually telling the fans they will always be in my heart, but of course your interpretation must be miss guided by a simple image.’

Fabregas is currently playing for Ligue 1 side Monaco but is currently self-isolating due to the coronavirus outbreak.

He recently told a story on social media of how he had to buy Chelsea team-mate Willy Caballero a Range Rover.
