CeeDee Lamb Set A Cowboys Record On Sunday

The Dallas Cowboys improved to 6-2 on Sunday with a dominant victory over the Chicago Bears.

This was the best offensive performance for the Cowboys as they scored touchdowns on their first four drives of the game.

While running back Tony Pollard was the star of the game, CeeDee Lamb was the one that set a Cowboys record.

The star wide receiver caught five passes for 77 yards in the game.

Those five receptions give him 195 for his career which is the most in team history through 40 games.

In a franchise that has been known for some of its great wide receivers, this is quite the honor for Lamb.

The Dallas Cowboys have an “88-club” featuring Drew Pearson, Michael Irvin, Dez Bryant, and Lamb.

All of those names Lamb surpassed in the process of setting this record.

Lamb has been great for the Cowboys through his first two-and-a-half seasons.

This receptions record is just another showing of how important he has been.

The 23-year-old has taken over as Dallas’ WR1 this year and is thriving in that role.

Lamb leads the Cowboys in receptions, yards, and touchdowns this year.

He will be counted on for big performances all season long.

NFC Contenders

The Cowboys are one of the best teams in the NFC.

Their defense is elite, despite a rough showing against the Bears.

At 6-2, Dallas has a chance to make a run this year.

The Cowboys will need Dak Prescott to stay healthy to give them a chance to compete.

But, with Lamb, Pollard, Elliott, and the rest of the Cowboys offense in place, it will be interesting to see how far they can go.
