The Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Atlanta Falcons in a meaningless game Sunday to close out the 2022 NFL regular season. There’s been a lot of buzz about whether the team will play their starters or not. This is a debate that has solid points on both sides.

As Bowles has stated, “Right now I’m planning on playing them,” Bowles said on Monday. “We’ll see as the week goes forward, but we can get better at a lot of things that we need to work on, and we don’t need to take our foot off the gas.”

Bowles elaborated more on this via buccaneers.com’s Scott Smith,

“Todd Bowles says Tom Brady will start in Atlanta. If he comes out, Blaine Gabbert would be next in. Bowles said Kyle Trask has a good chance to be active for the game and would go in if Gabbert comes out.”
