Brice from Enkyboys speaks out after death of father Randy Gonzalez

Gonzalez announced on social media in April 2022 about his colon cancer diagnosis, revealing that the doctors only gave him two or three years to live. He posted many updates about his journey and chemotherapy on TikTok. Gonzalez said it was a struggle and that he wanted to raise more awareness about colon cancer. He died from his battle on Wednesday, January 25 in hospice. He was 35.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my father, Randy Gonzalez,” Brice wrote in an Instagram caption on Thursday, January 26. “My dad fought a long battle with cancer and is finally at peace with our Lord.”

The 6-year-old rising star continued with a moving note to his father, writing “I wish I could hug you & give you a kiss one more time dad but I know you will be watching over me, mom and the girls.”

“Until I see you again dad. I promise to make you proud. I love you,” he wrote.

On social media, Gonzalez always praised how proud he was of his family, his wife, Kimberly, and three children, Aubree, Brice, and Lauren. With the success of their TikTok videos, Brice landed a role in George Lopez’s new show, Lopez V. Lopez. He was cast as the grandson of George and son of Mayan, Lopez’s daughter on the show and in real life. Eva Longoria also cast Brice for her Flamin’ Hot project.

In the Instagram post, Brice also revealed that his family will be hosting a public memorial in Houston, where they are from. More information and details will be revealed at a later time. He noted that the family is accepting donations via the cash app at $Bricethadice.

“I would Like to thank everyone for your kind words & condolences. It really means a lot,” Brice wrote. “…Please keep my family in your prayers.”
