Bratz fans blast Kylie Jenner for doll collaboration: ‘Something ain’t right’
Fans are getting bratty about this collab.
After it was announced that Kylie Jenner will be immortalized in miniature form, Bratz lovers have been expressing their distaste for the doll brand’s first celebrity collaboration – and blasting the reality star all over social media.
On Tuesday, the company announced the mini Bratz dolls limited-edition collection on Instagram, with six different versions of the makeup mogul wearing her most memorable red carpet outfits, including the lavender custom Versace feathered gown from the 2019 Met Gala and her wedding gown baseball cap combo at the 2022 Met Gala.
However, not everyone is celebrating the “Kardashians” star getting her own sassy figurine.
“So Kylie def gives bratz energy but something ain’t right here at all lol,” one critic tweeted in response to the news of Bratz first-ever celebrity collaboration.
Another person on Twitter pointed out the skin color, writing, “The fact that the Kylie Bratz dolls are brown are weird asf. That girl is white asf.”
“Giving Kylie (a white woman who modeled her face/body around Black women) her own Bratz doll (which is an arguably more Urban/Black presenting doll) before an ACTUAL Black woman is… weird,” one Twitter user noted.
“I feel like they did a kardashian because they’re who u think of on ‘Instagram Face’ which is similar to the Bratz makeup but still don’t seem right 🥴,” another person responded in the same thread.
One Twitter commentator joked, “i think imma turn into a barbie girl cause why tf kylie has a bratz doll ?? all the black celebrities and u chose a white woman…”

“Kylie Jenner is a sicko lmaooo sis literally skimmed off the top of the entire Black girl aesthetic and is getting a BRATZ collection that’s not even based off her natural features,” one tweet read.
According to the Bratz website, each $9.99 capsule includes two figures – one of the reality star and one accessory, like a mini version of her Italian Greyhound dog Norman or a lip-shaped phone befitting the Kylie Cosmetics founder.
Bratz is offering 14 different collectibles for the “Bratz Pack” to unbox.
