Bexar County’s COVID-19 weekly positivity rate was updated Sunday and it’s the lowest it’s ever been.

At 1.7 percent, the rate is well below the 5 percent threshold which indicates community transmission is more manageable. Metro Health has reported a steady decline in the rate in recent weeks. Last week, the metric was at 1.9 percent, according to official surveillance.
