Injury Scare
Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard, who is on loan from Real Madrid, only lasted 45 mins of Norway’s World Cup Qualifier with Gibraltar after seeming to roll his ankle.
He was captaining his country on the night for the first time, but wasn’t able to make it out for the second half. He needed treatment before half time and limped off at the whistle and was replaced at half time.
Norway lead two-nil in Gibraltar, but Martin Ødegaard has been forced off at the break due to an apparent ankle problem.

Re: Ødegaard ankle injury. Right ankle rolled inwards as he was was cutting to the left with the ball, looks to be relatively mild.

Erling Haaland led the line for Norway, but it was Alexander Sorloth and Kristian Thorstvedt, son of former Spurs goal keeper Erik Thorstvedt meant they went in 2-0 at half-time.

Odegaard has been one of the brightest spots for Arsenal in what has so far been a disappointing season for Mikel Arteta’s men. He scored in the north London derby and also in their Europa League win over Benfica.

The club are believed to be very keen for him to remain at the club and he has said he “feels at home” in north London.
They will be hoping his failure to come out for the second half is precautionary rather than anything long term as they prepare to finish the season as strongly as possible.
