Arsenal linked with Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr.
Transfer talk over the weekend has credited Arsenal with an interest in Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr.
Arsenal making changes
As we edge towards the final week of the winter transfer window, Arsenal have been fairly busy.
The Gunners have been active when it comes to both incomings and outgoings.
In terms of players leaving the club, Mesut Ozil has made the move to Turkish outfit Fenerbahçe, Sokratis agreed to terminate his contract at the Emirates, and both Sead Kolasinac and William Saliba have departed on loan.
Reiss Nelson has also recently been linked with a loan move to the Championship
When it comes to arrivals, meanwhile, the Gunners recently secured the services of Mat Ryan on loan for the remainder of the season – a solid bit of business given the lack of depth between the posts in north London since Emiliano Martinez departed for Aston Villa.
Arsenal have also been heavily linked with a loan swoop for Real Madrid’s Martin Odegaard:
Real Madrid and Arsenal have been negotiating for Ødegaard also tonight.
The agreement is really close as reported yesterday – there are still details to be sorted out. No Real Sociedad, no Ajax: Ødegaard wants Arsenal.
He’s now pushing to join #AFC in the coming hours. 🇳🇴⌛️

Arsenal linked with second Real Madrid star
And now, on Sunday, the Gunners have been linked with yet another Real Madrid man.
The player in question comes in the form of Vinicius Jr., who the Mirror, citing Spanish outlet OKDiario, claim Mikel Arteta’s outfit are in the frame to land.
Any potential move for the Brazilian would be expected to come to fruition in the summer, rather than this month, though, amid suggestions that Vinicius will be allowed to depart the Bernabeu come the end of the season.
