Arsenal are interested in Bournemouth‘s Jaidon Anthony as Mikel Arteta looks to add further wide options to his squad.
The Gunners have opened talks to sign Brighton’s Leandro Trossard this month in a £20million move – but they might not be done there.
Anthony, 23, a former Arsenal academy player, is out of contract at the Vitality Stadium this summer with talks over a new contract not yet producing a deal.

With his age and previous academy experience with the Gunners Anthony is thought to be a shrewd addition with potential for long-term growth.
Left winger Anthony, who was excellent in Bournemouth’s promotion season in 2021-22, would be available for free if his contract runs down.
Fellow Premier League club Leicester City are also monitoring Anthony and there is also interest from Bundesliga clubs Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen.
Anthony played in 45 of Bournemouth’s 46 Championship matches as they won promotion last season, scoring eight goals and contributing seven assists.
He has found game time harder to come by in the Premier League with contract talks ongoing, starting only four of the Cherries’ 19 games so far.

But Anthony came off the bench to score against Nottingham Forest – a late winner in a dramatic 3-2 comeback win – and against Everton. He also scored against the Toffees in the Carabao Cup.
Despite being restricted to mainly substitute appearances, Anthony is the second-highest scorer at Bournemouth this season with three in all competitions.
Only Dominic Solanke, Philip Billing and Kieffer Moore, with four apiece, have netted more.
Gladbach need a replacement for Marcus Thuram, who could be heading to Chelsea, while Leverkusen will see Callum Hudson-Odoi return to Stamford Bridge after his loan.

London-born Anthony spent 10 years in Arsenal’s academy, playing alongside the likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson, so knows the club well.
His Premier League debut actually came against the Gunners back in August.
Bournemouth have lost their last six matches in all competitions since the World Cup break, slipping to 17th in the table, just a point above the relegation zone.
