Another record day likely tomorrow, but seasonable mornings return

FORECAST

We hit 96° in San Antonio today which breaks the record by 1°, and tomorrow is likely to be record setting as well. The record tomorrow is 94°, and we’re expecting a high of 95°. Our average high temperature

Mornings, however, will be near average for this time of year starting tomorrow. Expect sunrise temperatures of 63° to 64° the rest of this week with a glimmer of hope for even cooler mornings by next week.

Total sunshine will be the rule with no chance of rain for at least 10 days.

HURRICANE MILTON

Milton remains a major Category 5 hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico and is heading toward Florida.

The hurricane is forecasted to weaken some before landfall (likely near the Tampa Bay area), but will still be a powerful storm for parts of the Florida Peninsula with highs winds, flooding, and storm surge. Speaking of, peak storm surge could reach up to 10-15 ft around Tampa Bay.

Texas will *NOT* see any impacts from Milton. More updates to come.
