San Antonio police have arrested a woman accused of stealing candles on several occasions from an East Side Family Dollar store.
Police said 42-year-old Tamika Haynes was at the dollar store on W.W. White Road on Jan. 20 when the store manager saw Haynes take candles from a display shelf and then conceal them in her bag, according to an arrest affidavit said. The affidavit said the manager recognized Haynes as someone who takes candles regularly from the store, so they confronted her and demanded she returns them.

Haynes punched the manager in the face and then fled on a bicycle, police said.
After posting a reward with Crime Stoppers, investigators were able to locate Haynes from a tip.
Haynes was charged with robbery-2nd degree and her bail was set at $7,500.
