A 56-year-old man was arrested after he was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl, according to an arrest affidavit.

Police were tipped off to Gregory Montemayor while they were investigating a human trafficking case involving a 16-year-old girl, who told police that Montemayor sexually assaulted her, the arrest affidavit said. She also said she visited him over 100 times, according to the affidavit.

The victim, who described Montemayor as a “Mexican Santa Claus” in the affidavit, told police where he lived.

During the course of their investigation, police said they discovered that another female would find girls for Montemayor in exchange for him paying her bills, the affidavit said.

One of the defendants in the trafficking case told police that Montemayor was “commonly known to have underage girls in his apartment” and that he was “known to like the younger generation,” the affidavit said.

Montemayor was arrested Monday on charges of sexual assault-child and has been remanded without bond.
