Academy players expressing their creativity

Head of Academy Nick Cox has co-ordinated the work for all age-groups, with the Under-23s and Under-18s mirroring the first-team’s home training programmes. The older Academy players are holding one-on-one meetings to review their progress and embarking on physical work and technical development. They are also able to access additional online academic qualifications, away from the football.
However, the Academy, pre-Academy and emerging talent groups are taking a different approach to home training. The youngsters are being encouraged to lead their own learning by using their initiative and imagination when putting on their own individual sessions in their home or garden.
