Aaron Rodgers ties Tom Brady for most career 145.0+ Passer Rating games in NFL history

Statistically speaking, Aaron Rodgers had his best game of 2022 in the Packers’ 31-28 overtime win over Dallas.

ARod completed 14-of-20 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns. Throw those numbers into the hopper, and Rodgers’ Passer Rating was 146.7. That’s his highest Passer Rating since November 21, 2021. He had a 148.4 Passer Rating that day against the Vikings in a 34-31 loss.

It was Rodgers’ 15th career regular season game with a Passer Rating of 145 or above (the Packers are 14-1 in these games). It ties him with Tom Brady for the most career regular season games with a Passer Rating of 145 or above.

Only two quarterbacks had a 145+ Passer Rating in a game this season. In addition to Rodgers’ game last Sunday, New York Giants’ QB on that same day had a Passer Rating of 153.3 in his team’s 24-16 win over Houston.

Aaron Rodgers is one of five Green Bay Packers QBs to have one or more Passer Rating games of 145 or above. Brett Favre is second behind Rodgers with four 145+ Passer Rating games as a Packer. Lynn Dickey and Bart Starr each had three such games, and Tobin Rote completes the list with one game.

This season was the ninth year in Rodgers’ career that he had at least one game with a 145+ Passer Rating. Twice he had three games with a 145+ Passer Rating: In 2014 and 2020.
