Aaron Rodgers excited to see Mike McCarthy in Week 10 matchup

The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys are on opposite ends of the spectrum in Week 10.

The Cowboys, led by former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy, have a 6-2 record and have exceeded expectations this season. The team has won games with their backup quarterback, Cooper Rush, starting in five games for the Cowboys after Dak Prescott’s injury in Week 1.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have lost five straight games.

Rodgers was asked during his Tuesday appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” what is was going to be like for Rodgers to see McCarthy. Rodgers seemed excited to see his former coach.

“I’m going to give him a big ole hug. I can tell you that much, Rodgers said. “I’m glad to see Mike.”

Rodgers said he hoped the fans in Green Bay would be as receptive as they should be to McCarthy, a Super Bowl-winning coach with the Packers.
