How to make sure Pounding the Rock shows up in your Google search
Do you ever just want some Spurs coverage to read but don’t want to go from site to site searching, so instead you just go to Google to see if something interesting comes up? I know I do. However, you may not always get what you want these days. There’s so many sites out there, some not always legit or that specialize in speculation or stuff like “trade suggestions” with misleading headlines that make it seem legitimate. AI can also steer you away from clicking on or reading articles.
Now, Google is offering a new feature called Preferred Sources, where you can tell it what your preferred sites are — for example, Pounding the Rock.
“With the launch of Preferred Sources in the U.S. and India, you can select your favorite sources and stay up to date on the latest content from the sites you follow and subscribe to — whether that’s your favorite sports blog or a local news outlet. …
When you select your preferred sources, you’ll start to see more of their articles prominently displayed within Top Stories, when those sources have published fresh and relevant content for your search.“
We have worked hard over the years to continue building Pounding the Rock into the best source for Spurs coverage, whether it’s news, game coverage — both the day of and the day after — and any other opinion or off-the-wall features you won’t find anywhere else. To make PtR one of your preferred sources in Google, all you have to do is click here and add Pounding the Rock. That’s it!
As long as you keep using PtR as your main source of Spurs coverage, we will continue to do our very best for you. We want to thank our longtime viewers and welcome our new ones, and hopefully the 2025-26 season will be the best yet of this decade. Go Spurs Go!
