49ers TE George Kittle: Trey Lance ‘looks a little bit better than a rookie quarterback’

Jimmy Garoppolo and rookie quarterback Trey Lance took the field Tuesday for the San Francisco 49ers‘ OTAs. 

According to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle, both quarterbacks received reps in 11-on-11 drills and while Garoppolo looked recovered from last season’s ankle injury, Lance also impressed. 

Niners star tight end George Kittle lauded the North Dakota State product, saying, “He looks a little bit better than a rookie quarterback.”
