San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch sat down with reporters at the owners’ meetings in Arizona on Monday morning. One of the tidbits he offered is that the team has signed offensive tackle Matt Pryor.

The Philadelphia Eagles made Pryor (6-7, 332) a sixth-round selection (No. 206 overall) out of TCU in 2018. He has started 24 of his 60 game appearances in the NFL, starting 14 over the past two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.

This past season, 362 of Pryor’s 576 total snaps came at either left (249) or right tackle (113), per Pro Football Focus. He allowed 31 pressures and six sacks in 388 pass-blocking snaps in 2022. The offensive lineman earned his best overall grade (76.5) from the analytics site in 2021 when he allowed only eight pressures and no sacks in 241 pass-blocking snaps.
