49ers re-signing WR Willie Snead to a one-year deal

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 in Houston, the San Francisco 49ers have agreed to terms on a one-year deal to bring back wide receiver Willie Snead.

The Cleveland Browns signed Snead (5-11, 195) as an undrafted free agent out of Ball State in 2014. He spent most of last season on the 49ers’ practice squad. The receiver suited up for four games with the Niners but did not catch a pass with the team.

Snead, 30, has caught 279 passes for 3,431 yards and 16 touchdowns in 99 game appearances (48 starts) through his eight NFL seasons spent between the New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, Las Vegas Raiders, Carolina Panthers, and 49ers.
