49ers met with Washington S Alex Cook at Hula Bowl

According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, the San Francisco 49ers were among several teams that met with Washington safety Alex Cook at the Hula Bowl. The teams included the Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, and several others.

Cook, listed at 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, started all 13 games for the Huskies in 2022. He finished his senior season with 82 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, and a pass defensed. Cook racked up 128 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, and two passes defensed in his final two collegiate seasons.

Cook, a California native, played football at Sheldon High School in Vineyard, a Sacramento suburb.
