49ers-Chargers Injury Report: Arik Armstead, Samson Ebukam don’t practice; Dre Greenlaw, Jason Verrett limited

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 10 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Defensive linemen Arik Armstead and Samson Ebukam didn’t practice. Armstead is returning from plantar fasciitis in his foot and a hairline fracture. On Monday, Ebukam suffered a quad injury.

Linebacker Dre Greenlaw (calf) and cornerback Jason Verrett (knee) were limited. Both were inactive during the 49ers’ Week 8 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel practiced for the second time this week. Both he and fullback Kyle Juszczyk returned to the field during Monday’s lighter session and were full practice participants on Wednesday.

Not listed below are running back Elijah Mitchell (knee), linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (knee), and offensive lineman Colton McKivitz (knee). That’s because the three remain on injured reserve. However, the team opened their practice windows on Monday, hoping to get them back as soon as this weekend’s game. Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters that the three are expected to be full participants in practice this week.

Also not listed is defensive end Jordan Willis’ (knee). San Francisco opened his practice window on Wednesday.
