49ers-Cardinals Injury Report: Arik Armstead ruled out for Monday night; Samson Ebukam ‘questionable’
The San Francisco 49ers wrapped up their three practices at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, about an hour’s drive south of Denver. The team has been there all week to get acclimated to the altitude. On Sunday, the 49ers will travel to Mexico City for Monday night’s game against the Arizona Cardinals at Estadio Azteca.
Charvarius Ward returned to practice on Saturday. The 49ers excused the cornerback on Thursday and Friday for a personal matter. He is expected to start on Monday night.
Defensive lineman Arik Armstead will miss his sixth consecutive game due to foot and ankle injuries. He has not practiced this week and was not on the field with his teammates on Saturday. The 49ers ruled out Armstead for the upcoming game.
Another defensive lineman, Samson Ebukam, returned to practice on Friday and was on the field again on Saturday. He was limited on both days. Ebukam was inactive last weekend against the Los Angeles Chargers due to a quadriceps injury. The 49ers listed him as “questionable” for Monday night.
