1 Crazy Number For Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb In Week 12

The Dallas Cowboys picked up a nice victory over the New York Giants in Week 12 on Thanksgiving Day. The Cowboys took full advantage of the Giants being short-handed, taking control of the game in the second half when New York began showing some signs of tiring down, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Heading into the game, the Giants were without three of their four starters in the secondary. Safety Xavier McKinney has not played since the bye after he broke his hand in an ATV accident. Starting cornerbacks Adoree’ Jackson and Fabian Moreau were both absent for the game as well, leaving special teamer Nick McCloud as the No. 1 outside cornerback.

While the Giants’ held their own despite missing so many key players, the Cowboys were able to make some big plays targeting players who normally wouldn’t be put in those situations. One of the players that the Giants struggled to contain was CeeDee Lamb.

Lamb had a very good game against the Giants in their first matchup of the season, catching eight passes for 87 yards and a touchdown. He could have had a much bigger night had he not dropped what would have been a 48-yard touchdown in the second quarter of the game.

While Lamb didn’t get in the end zone on Thanksgiving, he still gave the Giants fits. He caught six passes for 106 yards, his second-highest output on the season. In the process, he earned the highest receiving grade of any player in Week 12 according to PFF.

Lamb had a 92.2 grade for the game, as he was the only player to break 90. Second on the list was Amon-Ra St. Brown, who had a grade of 88.6 for the Detroit Lions against the Buffalo Bills, also on Thanksgiving.
