USAA named one of the best employers for new grads, according to Forbes

Forbes magazine recently named USAA as one of the best employers for new graduates, according to its third annual ranking released last week.

The San Antonio-based financial services company landed at No. 18 in the ranking, which listed 250 employers in the U.S. Austin-based grocery chain Whole Foods Market claimed the top spot in the ranking.

The business magazine collaborated with market research firm Statista for its ranking, surveying 20,000 Americans with less than 10 years of professional experience who are working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees.

Forbes conducted the anonymous surveys between March and June of this year, and responses for the same employers were compared to its previous best employers ranking to see if there were significant variations before and after the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Forbes, the respondents were asked to rate their organizations on criteria such as working conditions, salary and how likely they’d be to recommend their employer to others. The final list ranks the 250 employers that earned the most recommendations.

Forbes also listed USAA at No. 11 in its best employers in Texas 2020 ranking in August and at No. 98 on its “Best Employers for Women 2020” ranking in July.

Additionally, USAA was named as the best company in the nation with the best customer experience by KPMG, a global network of professional firms in July.
