NBA Registers 16 Positive COVID-19 Tests Out Of 302 Players

The NBA registered 16 positive COVID-19 tests out of 302 NBA players.

Tests were administered earlier this week.

Any player who tested positive will remain in self-isolation until he satisfies public health protocols for discontinuing isolation and has been cleared by a physician.

Nikola Jokic, Buddy Hield, Malcolm Brogdon and Jabari Parker were among the players to test positive.

Several players such as Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Marcus Smart tested positive in March. It is not known which players may have tested positive previously and have recovered to return a negative test.
