Man City ace Nicolas Otamendi wanted by Porto and Inter but may be used in deal for Jules Kounde

Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi is attracting interest from Porto and Inter Milan. 

The 32-year-old could yet be pushed into negotiations with Sevilla for Jules Kounde though the Spanish would prefer a straight cash deal of around £65million for the 21-year-old. 

Otamendi has fell down the pecking order at City following Nathan Ake’s summer arrival from Bournemouth.

The Argentinian was not selected in City’s match-day squad for their season-opener with Wolves as with Pep Guardiola preferring to partner Ake and John Stones.

Otamendi has made 210 appearances for the club over his five-year spell.

During his at City, he has won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and four league cups. 

City, meanwhile, are keen on adding Estudiantes winger Darío Sarmiento this summer.

The 17-year-old winger has represented Argentina at U16s and U17s level and has been tipped for a bright future.
