Alleged drunken driver, passenger who died in North Side crash identified

A woman accused of drunken driving and a passenger who died when police said she crashed her SUV on a North Side highway were identified Thursday.

Madison Delozier, 22, is charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault. Her bail totals $150,000.

Delozier was driving a 2004 black Dodge Durango when the accident occurred around 7 p.m. Tuesday in the eastbound lanes of North Loop 1604, near the Vance Jackson overpass, San Antonio police said.

Rafael Lozano, 21, was ejected from the front passenger seat and died at the scene, investigators said.

A 20-year-old man, who was in the back seat, was seriously injured and taken to University Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery, police said.
