Some universities and schools across South Central Texas have already announced their plans ahead of winter weather expected to arrive this week.

As of Sunday afternoon, some colleges and universities — such as the University of the Incarnate Word, Trinity University, Alamo Colleges District and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio — have not yet made their Tuesday plans public.
Three San Antonio-area universities — Our Lady of the Lake University, Texas A&M University-San Antonio and St. Mary’s University — said they would monitor weather conditions before making any official announcements.
San Antonio-area public school districts such as San Antonio ISD, Northside ISD and North East ISD said they are also closely monitoring weather conditions ahead of Jan. 21.
Below is a list of school districts that are canceling or delaying classes due to winter weather on Jan. 21:
- Cotulla ISD: All classes have been canceled on Jan. 21.
- Eagle Pass ISD: All classes
- Poth ISD: All classes have been canceled on Jan. 21.
- San Marcos Academy: All classes all classes on Jan. 21 have been canceled.
- University of Texas at San Antonio announced Friday it has canceled classes on Jan. 21. UTSA said its spring semester will begin on Jan. 22.
