FORECAST DETAILS:

Hope you’ve had a great weekend!

Sunday marked our 22nd triple digit day so far for the year in San Antonio, with more on the way into the upcoming work week.

It’ll be a warm and muggy start to Monday with morning low temperatures in the upper 70s/near 80° as the kiddos head out to the bus stop. Plenty of sunshine will help high temperatures climb to around 102° in San Antonio Monday afternoon, but will feel closer to 105°-110° for a few hours thanks to the humidity.

Make sure any students staying after school for sports or band practice are staying hydrated! That will be key again for much of this week with high temperatures building by a few degrees (closer to 105°) Tuesday and Wednesday.

Another hot one on tap for the kiddos heading back to school with highs in the triple digits in San Antonio.

While it may get a little worse before it gets better on the thermometer, there is hope for a few changes by next weekend. High pressure moves slightly north, allowing for a disturbance to move into South Texas. This could bring some added cloud cover and isolated rain chances back into the forecast, along with slightly ‘cooler’ temperatures with highs more to the tune of the mid/upper 90s.

We’ll keep you posted on that in the days ahead. Until then — stay cool out there and have a great week! ~ Mia
