Open Thread: Spurs kick off early voting with “Vote Spurs Vote” rally

As mentioned yestersay, the Spurs Organization has been heavily promoting Props A & B, to which early voting begins on Monday.

In effort to drum up support adn awareness, they announced a “Vote Spurs Vote” rally.

Per a Spurs press release:

 On Monday, Oct. 20, San Antonio residents will come together at Legacy Park for a community rally marking the start of the Bexar County election early voting period. Support for Props A and B will take center court as city leaders and neighbors rally behind a shared vision: a downtown district and East Side Rodeo upgrades that locals can access and afford, funded by visitors, with the public share capped and the team covering overruns.

Here are the details:

WHAT:
Free community celebration for all ages at Legacy Park, starting with a program of speakers including Sean Elliott, Cody Davenport, Chef Johnny Hernandez, Trish DeBerry and others. A “Building Our Legacy” community hour will follow with music, food and drinks, a pledge wall, a photo booth and more family fun. 
WHEN:
Monday, Oct. 20 from 6 – 8 p.m. 
Speakers will begin around 6:15 p.m.
Interactive community hour from 7 – 8 p.m. beginning with a group photo and chant
