Bring back Christmas bonuses enough to finance an in-ground pool.

It’s not really Christmas without a bit of drama. The Spurs and Knicks delivered an exciting winter solstice game, but the young Spurs could not quite get over the hump with a win.

Victor Wembanyama led all players (and the league on Christmas Day) with 42 points, 18 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Additionally, Jeremy Sochan had an uber efficient night with 21 points on 8 – 10 shooting and 3 – 3 from deep.

The super sophomore continues to impress especially on the grand stage of Christmas prime time.

Whoa Whoa Stephon Castle. Take it easy there. It’s Christmas after all, and I haven’t had quite enough eggnog to be handle this type of visual display.

Here, Wembanyama hustled for the slamming put back. He displayed more hustle than Cousin Eddy heading out in the middle of the night to “get” Clark’s last minute surprise Christmas gift.

‘Tis the season of giving. And Santa Wembanyama delivered an easy bucket to Jeremy Sochan gift wrapped and all.

Still looks more like Wemby than “Dwyane Wade’s” statue in Miami.

These animated live games are definitely a gimmick, and they definitely look like we’re watching live sports on a Nintendo Wii, but if it’s the only way to get my daughter to watch basketball, I’m here for it!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! May your new year be filled with joy, fortune, and a Spurs playoff seed!

If you missed the game because you were too busy playing with your new LEGO set, here are the full-game highlights:

Next up, the Spurs head over to Brooklyn to take on the Nets on Friday, December 27, 2024.
