Six players finished in double figures, but De’Aaron Fox had the biggest two points of the night to end the four-game losing streak.

Coming off a loss to the Houston Rockets this past Wednesday, the Spurs traveled to Memphis for the last game of the Rodeo Road Trip to face the Grizzlies. After a back-and-forth first quarter, the Spurs outscored the Grizzlies 46-28 in the second. The Spurs’ biggest lead was 22. However, the third quarter was a microcosm of the Spurs’ season. The Grizzlies outscored the Spurs 38-22 in the third and eventually tied the game in the fourth. Despite the Spurs going on a run to go back up by double digits, Jaren Jackson Jr. willed the Grizzlies back. In the last minute, Zach Edey fouled De’Aaron Fox on a three-point attempt. After he made all three free throws, Jaren Jackson Jr. nailed a three off the glass to tie the game with 22 seconds remaining. Then, CLUTCH happened. De’Aaron Fox drained a stepback midrange jumper with 1.8 seconds remaining. Santi Aldama missed the full-court game-winning attempt, and the Spurs won 130-128.

De’Aaron Fox dropped 20 points, seven assists, three rebounds, a steal, and a block. After struggling to find his rhythm, De’Aaron took charge towards the end with the team’s last five points.

Devin Vassell dropped 20 points, six rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block. He started out hot with 10 points in the first quarter. When Dev is in a rhythm, the team typically follows suit.

BUCKET. Dev takes the Chris Paul dump-off pass and shoots a fall-away jumper over JJJ.

Jeremy Sochan dropped a double-double: 18 points and 11 rebounds. He also dropped three assists and a steal. Jeremy had to play backup center again and held his own against the titans of Memphis. Spurs fans cannot wait until he plays his natural position for most of a season.

HUSTLE! Jeremy and Dev hustle on the loose ball, and it results in Jeremy throwing a bounce pass to a wide-open CP3 in the corner who knocks down the triple!

Another fastbreak, another two points! Julian gets the steal and throws it ahead to KJ who dumps it off to Jeremy for the layup!

CLEAN-UP ON AISLE 10! Jeremy cleans up the missed KJ shot with a putback slam!

Keldon Johnson dropped 15 points, six rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block. The Mustang has continued his solid play since the ASB, and nothing seems to be slowing him down anytime soon.

2 for 1 special! KJ intercepts the pass and takes Edey to the hole for the tough finish!

What a finish and what a win! A four-game losing streak made it look like the Spurs’ morale was low, but after Gregg Popovich visited them while giving a pump-up speech, this team’s energy was exploding. Let’s hope the teams’ return back home will ignite a run towards the last quarter of the season!

Finally, here are the full game highlights.

The Spurs take on the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Frost Bank Center later tonight at 6:00 P.M. (CST) on ESPN/FDSN-SW.
